PALMER

Construction on the 60 Megawatt (MW) AC Palmer Solar Project began in April 2019 and the project will be operational in the first quarter of 2020. The Project is located approximately 15 miles southeast of Colorado Springs in El Paso County, Colorado and was constructed by JSI Construction Group, the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) Contractor. Construction included the use of the juwi tracker and thousands of PV panels. Colorado Springs Utilities is the energy offtaker and Duke Energy Renewables owns the facility.

  • Commercial operation will be achieved in Q1 2020
  • Includes 220,750 modules constructed on the juwi (JES) single axis tracker
